As a Naturopathic Doctor, I witness first hand what lack of sleep can do to our health. Sleep is a necessity, and it plays an important role in the foundation for health. It is so important to nurture healthy sleep at a young age, so we can support our children in the right path for maximum well-being, potential and restfulness.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia, I continued my education at Boucher Insitute of Naturopathic Medicine and currently hold a license to practice Naturopathic Medicine.
I am a mother of three beautiful, spirited, loving, and funny kids. They have brought me more joy than I could ever imagine, but with that, also a great loss of sleep :) I am able to smile about that now because sleep training has helped our family tremendously. When I first became a mother, for a long time I didn't understand why my son wasn't sleeping on his own. He always had to be held, nursed, or strolled around in order to fall asleep without a fight. People told me he would grow out of it, or eventually he will learn; but how and when? Well, I got tired (literally) of waiting and we did sleep training. Having experienced how amazing it is to recover my sleep, it has driven me to pursue training to become a sleep consultant through Family Sleep Institute. I feel so passionate about supporting other families in regaining healthy sleep again.
